SAPI pointers are used to call the objects content either in the data representation code or in the data container body. Data pointers return the values of the CMS environment variables (see Recommended CMS Environment Variables). The value of a variable may be called through the SAPI:APPLY element or the SAPI:%Attrib attribute. Container pointers return the content of data containers.
